About me
My name is Susie Kiddle, and I am a private Occupational Therapist based in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. I have over 24 years of clinical experience, having worked across the NHS, social care, and private practice. I specialise in neurological rehabilitation and dementia care management, supporting individuals and families through often complex and life-changing circumstances.
I work with adults across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Buckinghamshire, providing personalised, practical support focused on maintaining independence and quality of life.
How I Can Help
As an Occupational Therapist, my role is to help people continue to do the everyday activities, roles, and hobbies that are meaningful to them. This may include:
Finding new or adapted ways to manage activities at home or in the community
Supporting recovery and confidence following illness or injury
Fatigue management and energy conservation
Recommending appropriate equipment or adaptations
Identifying and accessing local support networks
My approach is holistic, person-centred, and always tailored to individual needs and goals.
Assessment and Rehabilitation
Following an initial face-to-face assessment, we work together to identify clear, realistic rehabilitation goals. From this, I develop a personalised treatment plan, supporting you step by step to maintain or regain your ability to participate in the activities that matter most to you.
Training, Support, and Education
In addition to individual therapy, I am available to:
Present and provide advice at local support groups
Deliver bespoke training for care staff and families
Offer practical guidance tailored to individual needs and care environments
My aim is to empower not only the individual, but also those supporting them, with confidence, knowledge, and practical strategies.
